Our Story

Hi, I'm Riya Mittal, a 2nd year master's student at Georgetown University studying communication, culture, and technology. In 2019, I founded Dyslex-Aid out of personal necessity, having nearly faced expulsion from high school in 2015 due to dyslexia. Dyslex-Aid emerged as the solution I wished existed—a tool to empower individuals like myself to overcome reading challenges and excel academically. Our platform offers personalized insights and AI-generated visuals to enhance reading experiences by recommending optimal settings such as font size, background colors, and spacing. Dyslex-Aid aims to redefine accessibility in learning, providing tailored support to foster confidence and academic success for dyslexic individuals worldwide.
